"The United States of America, five percent of the world’s population, leads the world economically, militarily, scientifically, and culturally – and by a spectacular margin. Any one of these achievements, taken alone, would be cause for enormous pride. To dominate as we do in all four arenas has no historical precedent. That we have achieved so much in so many areas is due, due entirely, to the structure of our society as outlined in the Constitution of the United States”. —Bill Whittle, Commentator (source: Patriot Post)
"The dustbin of history is littered with remains of those countries that relied on diplomacy to secure their freedom. Ronald Reagan (source: Patriot Post)
"It is the duty of all Nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and humbly to implore His protection and favors." --George Washington (source: Patriot Post)
A founding document (our Constitution) which provides for the release of its citizen’s genius, a military capable and willing to defend that document, and a populous which honors the Creator all work together to form a country with enormous power to do Good.
This day, we honor the military, a member of this righteous triumvirate, and those warriors who fell in defense of the American ideal. We thank you, active and former warriors, and we thank your families for their sacrifice in a cause profound.
